TOTAL DRIVE TRANSMISSIONS SDN BHD was incorporated on 12th May 1994. It is the objective of the company to establish itself as a key player in the power transmissions business. The main industries which have been identified to achieve this objective are the palm oil industry, pulp and paper industry, iron and steel industry and the water and waste treatment industry.

The company presently employs twenty staff out of whom nine are in the sales force. Most of the sales personnel are technically trained in Belgium on gearbox selection, trouble shooting assembly and repair. The majority of the staff have been with the company since inception.

The company started as the sole distributor for Hansen Transmissions International, Belgium - the world leader in gearbox manufacturing. Today, the company has been appointed the local assembly center for Hansen S3 range of helical geared motors in Malaysia and also the authorized repair shop for the full range of Hansen products.
